The group
Since it was formed in 1997, the group has met regularly to enjoy fellowship and fresh air as we walk in the local countryside. The walks are usually held monthly and all church members are warmly invited to join us, together with any of their friends and relatives who wish to take part.
Although the walks are not particularly difficult, we do expect to encounter a few slopes, stiles and muddy sections on the way. Any prospective new members should therefore take note of the guidance offered in the next paragraph.
Please note that all walkers take part at their own risk. This does not imply any degree of danger, but simply to advise that we are not insured as a group and that individuals should therefore arrange for their own insurance if considered appropriate. All walkers are advised to exercise due caution and to wear suitable walking boots and outdoor clothing.
